Run days are my favorite. I ran cross country in high school and college, as well as completing a few races after college (1/2 marathon, full marathon). I got home from camp today and was feeling pretty tired, especially because we were outside most of the day. I had to remind myself that completing the work out each day and not just sitting on the couch after work- will make me feel better! I laced up my shoes and was off! I ran all the way to my new apartment, which I will be moving into next week! It’s easier to go on long runs when you have a destination in mind. My work out was suppose to be a 30 min run, but I ended up running 45 in order to make it to my new apartment. Running back was the easiest part for me today. I struggled on the way there, I felt sluggish and tired but on the way back I had hit the runner high and felt great! There is nothing better than focusing on how your body feels while being slightly uncomfortable for 45 mins and then being able to just relax! After my run I felt accomplished and healthy! I feel I have started this week off strong and I look forward to my work out at 5:30 am tomorrow!
